Whatever the case, belief seems to be something for which we are extremely hardwired, belief in all of its forms; and God being the supreme form of belief, it is small wonder many of us have very strong, even irrational, beliefs aboutthe Divine.I hope the rash acts of those determine to misuse this section do not result in the loss of the opportunity for discussion of these critical topicsfor the rest of usRedElfposted 7 years agoin reply to thisI do agree with freedom of religion and politics, and I don’t believe we should ban or close such threads because we don’t agree with them or we find them somehow annoying HOWEVER.There is a great new tool from Edweirdo that lets you select which forums you want to see I have just plugged it in to my Firefox and it is amazing I can now see things that were usually buried behind all the other stuff I don’t participate in anyway like the religion and politics forums thanks Edweirdo!!!Apologies if someone has already posted this info, but it’s worth a second or third mention!Rebekah that’s fantastic. Thanks for pointing it out.I’m gonna try that in the morning, since this computer isn’t the one I generally use. Have you tried it yet? That one needs to be broadcast.I have nothing against the religion and/or politics forums, I believe in free speech, but it is annoying having it all in your face everytime you visit the forums..
The object of the game is to get the golf ball into the hole on the green in as few strokes as possible. Score is tracked on scorecards. “Par” is achieved if you match the average number of strokes on the hole. Contrary to the Bible, when David takes on Goliath in the real world, Goliath almost always wins. Let’s say you bought stock in Enron back in the late 1990s, believing it was one of the most successful and innovative energy companies in the world. When the company collapsed in 2001 after evidence surfaced of massive accounting fraud, your stock portfolio plummeted.
Ok why are we making a big deal out of this these children have no place to go its either this or be a child soldier hmmm what sounds less likely to cause a child harm working in a safe environment picking cocoa beans or suffering under a warlord trying to tke over the congo. If it is soo bad why is it that every single child is smiling in theses clips. We as americans have no right to go in an do anything about it the americans are stepping way over the line in this verbal attack. These children have been living like this for years and they are happy they know that this is one of very few options presented to them so how dare we as american say anything to the contrary. The only way to to make this better for the eyes of the american public is to fly all of the children out of there and bring to them to american tax payer money and put them in a system that doesnt even care about the tens of thousands of kids that we have in our country that are already homeless. So why is it america we dont care what happens to our own contry and it youth but as soon as some semi horrible event takes place outside we immediately drop everything to to anything we can or atleast let eveyone around us know we care.
