Avery Point Lantern Is Ready To Be Moved

Wednesday - September 21st

This is exciting news for all of us in the lighthouse lovers’ community.  The Avery Point lighthouse lantern room has been loaded onto a boat and will be moved to Avery Point where it will be lifted onto the top of the lighthouse tower in the next week or so.

In the last two weeks, Brian Villa and Allen Todd, both from the Joseph Gnazzo Company, inc. in Vernon, CT have been busy getting the tower ready to accept the lantern room.
